What is Vaser Lipo?

Vaser Lipo is an advanced, safe and effective treatment using the latest ultrasound technology and surgical techniques to break up and remove unwanted fat.

How does it work?

The procedure is carried out whilst you are awake. Through 3-4mm small incisions a local anaesthetic solution is first introduced into the unwanted layer of fat. This numbs the site and shrinks the blood vessels to minimise bleeding and bruising. The Vaser ultrasound probe is then introduced through the same incision and the Vaser ultrasound energy is used to selectively liquify the fat cells whilst leaving other important tissues such as nerves and blood vessels undisturbed.The liquified fat is then gently removed by suction in a non traumatic manner producing smooth and predictable results.

Yes. Vaser is safe and effective with minimal recovery time because the fat cells are selectively targeted and the procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia. How much fat can be removed and will it return?

One way to get a good idea for yourself is to stand and bend from the waist. The amount of “loose-hanging” fat you can grab easily above or below your waist is the approximate amount that can be removed. Once you have had fat removed from an area it is gone and, assuming a lifetstyle of healthy diet and exercise, it should not return or migrate to another area.
